We're really starting to be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out Italian in Bombay. Yesterday H, R1, R2 and I enjoyed a sumptuous dinner at a new Italian restaurant named Serafina. It is conveniently located in one of our favourite weekend hubs -
Palladium/Phoenix.
The wooden tables, wall frescoes and open kitchen don't particularly create a distinct ambiance but where Serafina scores is in the superlative taste of the food. The potato and leek soup was garnished with bits and bobs of feta. Very hearty and flavourful indeed. Both the whole wheat pizzas we ordered were very authentic in taste and felt like they were just flown down from Italy. And both and H and i just loved the super simple but super fresh rocket salad with cherry tomatoes and shaved Parmesan. We passed on dessert but I would guess they would be excellent at Serafina.
Have you heard of this restaurant? Have you tried it as yet? What's your verdict?

I've not been to Serafina but I've hrd its v overpriced..
had two terrible meals there. gave them a chance but neither the food nor the service is up to the mark. the prices are ridiculous as well.
Agree on overpriced but we had a great food experience! Perhaps consistency is an issue!
they overcharged me last time..very bad experience...aniways what are your recomendations?
