kitchen garden
I am really hoping to get my kitchen garden project started soon. Another new year resolution that I hope to keep! For years now I have dreamt of fresh basil growing abundantly in a small pot by the kitchen window from where I can easily get some to make a quick pesto or use as garnish in any number of Italian and Thai dishes.
Have you grown any herbs, fruits or veggies at home? Is it worth all the effort?

Take care that your 'mint' plant gets a fair amount of sun. I have found that it does not grow well in shade.
Sorry, I meant the 'basil' plant.
I got a lovely chocolate mint plant from the UK and am happy tp say that it has survived beautifully here n Islamabad. It has the most decadent choco mint scent to it. I use it while making homemade mint ice cream. Yummy yummy.
