chocaffaires

exclusive. fresh. handmade. dark chocolate. truffles. if that hasn't stopped you in your tracks as yet, try this: orange marzipan... cherry brandy... whole almond delight... golden caramel...apricot brandy...do i have you drooling as yet? i certainly was when i received a box of chocaffaires truffles as a gift for diwali from one of my clients. amongst the assorted dry fruit boxes and the usual mithai, the chocolate truffles stood out as very classy indeed. tried as i did to resist temptation (have to lose that baby fat!), one deep breath into the chocaffaires box and my knees were weak...

They look awesome.
You had me at 'dark chocolate'.

Although personally, one of the beauties of Diwali for me is allowing myself to dive head first into a box of sticky, freshly prepared warm jalebis. Heaven.

Happy Diwali to you and your family Lulu. x

Hi Lulu,
I just grabbed a bar of dark chocolate from my pantry, the instant I read this post; moi is a bona fide chocoholic. :) The easiest way to lead me astray from any effort toward controlled calorie intake is to place a box of chocolates in front of me. The words "self-control" simply vanish from my vocabulary. ;P

Although I have several favorites…Neuhaus, Norman Love, La Maison du chocolat, Dalloyau to name a few, I often order truffles from a company called Vosges Haute Chocolat, based out of Chicago. You may have heard of them, they have boutiques in several cities in the U.S. What's unique about their truffles is the combination of dark chocolate and exotic spices and herbs. www.vosgeschocolate.com
